PARENT-TEACHER MEETING FOR PRE-NURSERY- GRADE II

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela DPS MIHAN holds a strong belief in the pivotal role that parents play in a child's educational journey. The school has made concerted efforts to foster collaboration between educators and parents to assess both academic and non-academic aspects of a student's progress. As part of this initiative, a Parent-Teacher Meeting took place on 21st October, 2023 covering students from Pre-nursery to Grade II. For the younger students, the meeting focused on helping children with academic performance, with special emphasis on consistent attendance and maintaining personal hygiene. For Grade I and Grade II, the agenda included discussions about the CUA assessment and an overview of the upcoming academic and non-academic schedule. academic schedules and annual day preparations, adding an exciting dimension to the school calendar. The meeting also introduced ongoing Research-Based Learning projects on various topics taken up by different classes. This initiative aims to provide students with knowledge having a lifelong journey of learning. In addition to these updates, it's worth mentioning that a book fair was organized by Reading India 2023 under the Ministry of Culture and Development, which provided students and parents with an excellent opportunity to explore and engage with a wide range of books and literature.The Parent-Teacher Meeting was a resounding success, with dedication to fostering a well-rounded education that includes co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, annual day preparations, research-based learning projects, and access to the book fair. Furthermore, our young entrepreneurs ran a Diwali stall, with proceeds dedicated to charity. This embodies the school's commitment to social responsibility and community development.
