INDUSTRY VISIT DINSHAW FACTORY FOR GRADE -IX
Delhi Public School MIHAN has always encouraged the students for field visits and Excursion. It has always provided students opportunities for learning and development. Taking this ahead, the students of Grade IX were taken for an industrial visit to the manufacturing, production and processing plant in Dinshaw's Ice cream factory and milk products in Buti Bori.
The HR head of Dinshaw's Mr. Rama Murthy welcomed the students. He informed the students about the process of making an ice cream and various dairy products. The students were then taken for the visit to the ice cream factory. They saw the process of making an ice cream, adding flavour to it and how it is packed in cones, cups and in the boxes as per weight. They also were informed about the way in which these ice creams are stored in the cold storage from where it is dispatched to various agencies. The students were served ice cream cones of different flavours.
The students were then taken to the factory of the Dairy products. The children there, witnessed the collection of milk in raw form and storage of this milk in long cylindrical containers called Silo. They were then taken on a round, where they witnessed the processing and packaging of milk in milk bags. They also saw the making of curd, butter, Shrikhand and the processes of storing it in the cold storage at specific temperature. The HR head of Dinshaw's appreciated the students and the school for giving the students an opportunity to visit and learn about FMCG industry.
