SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY AT DPS MIHAN
National Science Day is celebrated in the honours of Sir C.V. Raman for his legacy, who discovered 'Raman Effect' on 28th February 1928 for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930. Therefore, this day was dedicated as National Science Day from 1999.
The motto for this year is “Integrated approach in Science and Technology for sustainable future” which depicts a wide range of impacts on education, skills and work.
Keeping this in mind, students of DPS Mihan organised a special assembly where issues like global warming and economic stability for peaceful and sustainable future were enacted in a skit. The students shared amazing facts which rases a question about the present resources being used wisely.
In this current scenario where the entire globe is facing a challenge on sustainability, young minds are finding new ways for the globe to have a peaceful future by innovations.
