CELEBRATING GURUNANAK JAYANTI: A CREATIVE TRIBUTE TO GURU NANAK DEVJI

Grade I & II students at DPS MIHAN celebrated Gurunanak Jayanti with a blend of creativity and learning. The children participated in an engaging paper collage activity, where they decorated important Sikh symbols, deepening their understanding of Sikh culture. Additionally, they worked on a beautiful art project where they created a collage of the Golden Temple using golden paper, symbolizing the reverence and importance of the sacred site. Throughout the celebration, the children were also briefed about the significance of Gurunanak Jayanti, learning about Guru Nanak Devji’s teachings of love, equality, and service to humanity. The students were introduced to Gurubani, understanding its spiritual value and how it guides Sikhs in daily life. This combination of artistic expression and spiritual learning made the celebration both meaningful and enjoyable, helping the children appreciate the rich cultural heritage associated with this important festival.
