DPS MIHAN, #Nagpur hosted its 2nd Inter-School Swimming Championship – AQUA QUEST 2026, celebrating aquatic excellence, sporting spirit and youthful determination. Under the visionary leadership and constant encouragement of Ms. Tulika Kedia, President & Pro Vice Chairperson, DPS MIHAN & Kamptee Road, and Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director, the school continues to champion sports, nurture young talent and move steadfastly towards its vision of holistic excellence. Their commitment to nurturing sporting talent and providing a platform for young swimmers from across Nagpur to showcase their potential made the championship a vibrant celebration of aquatic excellence.

The championship was graced by Chief Guest Yash Gulhane, International Long-Distance Swimmer and Bronze Medallist in the 100m Breaststroke at the Zirk Swim Cup 2026, Estonia, Europe, along with Mr Anunay Kedia and Mr Roshan Choudhary, Secretary, Aquatic Association, Nagpur, as esteemed guests. The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by an inspiring presentation showcasing the journey of DPS MIHAN, its sporting achievements and the state-of-the-art Natatorium, envisioned as a nurturing ground for future aquatic champions. A vibrant orchestra performance added to the celebratory spirit. The declaration of the event open marked the beginning of an exhilarating day of competition. Young swimmers showcased their skill and stamina across Butterfly, Freestyle, Breaststroke and 4×25 and 4×50 Relay events, across Under-8, 10, 12, 14, and 17 categories for boys and girls. The winners were felicitated with medals and certificates, while the officials were honoured for their invaluable contribution towards ensuring fair play and the smooth conduct of the championship.

Our Principal, Ms. Nidhi Yadav expressed her gratitude to the Aquatic Association of Nagpur, officials, participants, parents and the Sports Faculty for their collaborative efforts in making AQUA QUEST 2026 a resounding success.
