DPS MIHAN, #Nagpur celebrated its 5th #AnnualDay with grandeur, showcasing the creative talents and accomplishments of its students. The event was graced by Ms. Vijaylakshmi Bidari, Divisional Commissioner of Nagpur and a distinguished civil servant known for her exemplary contributions to public administration, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur and a renowned leader in management education, and Mr. Gurudas Raut, an International Specially-Abled Cricketer and World Cup Champion, joined as Guests of Honour. Under the visionary leadership of Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson, and Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director, of the DPS Kamptee Road and DPS MIHAN, the celebration reflected the school’s commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, and holistic development.
The highlight of the evening was a captivating theatrical performance titled “GAME CHANGER – A Leap Towards Transformation,” which depicted how values and sports can transform lives and communities. The play depicted the transformative journey of children overcoming challenges through the power of values and play, showcasing how these lessons bring positive change to individuals and their communities. This engaging presentation beautifully captured the essence of resilience, teamwork, and personal growth, leaving the audience deeply inspired. The spectacular dance and choir performances captivated the audience, holding their attention with their vibrant energy, harmonious melodies, and seamless coordination, making the evening truly unforgettable.
The ceremony also honoured the achievements of the first outgoing batch of Grade XII students through the newly instituted Annual School Awards that included the Chairperson’s Cup for Academics presented to Master Ananth Bokade ,Pro-Vice Chairperson's Cup to Ms. Divya Suryawanshi for Extra-curricular activities Director's Cup for Sports achievements to Ms. Rddihima Khambre, Principal's Cup for Discipline that was bagged by Ms. Samruddhi Shende and President’s Cup for All-Rounder Award won by Ms. Pakhi Gaur. The evening concluded with a spectacular orchestra performance by the Melody Explorers and a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, leaving the audience inspired by the transformative journey at DPS MIHAN
