VALEDICTORY CEREMONY OF MIMUN 4.0 HELD WITH GREAT FANFARE IN DPS MIHAN

A grand Valedictory Ceremony of DPS MIHAN‘s MIMUN 4.0 was held on 10th November 2024 in the beautiful A.V. Hall of the school. With a focus on SDGs 2030, around 220 young delegates from 50 institutions across the State participated in the two-day event adhering to the theme ‘Solutions through Symposium, Sustainability and Solidarity’ to debate global issues and find tangible solutions through the art of diplomacy and negotiations. President and Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road #Nagpur Ms.Tulika Kedia and Director Ms. Savita Jaiswal, joined the ceremony online and congratulated the delegates for making MIMUN 4.0 a highly successful event.
Mr. Mithilesh Vazalwar, Nagpur's young and dynamic entrepreneur and the CEO & Director of Corridor Seven Coffee Roasters, a company dedicated to producing high-quality coffee and works for sustainable farming practices graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his address, Mithilesh urged the delegates to work diligently and focus on efforts and not just the results while sharing valuable anecdotes from his entrepreneurial journey.
Earlier, Principal Ms. Nidhi Yadav in her address thanked the dignitaries for their gracious presence and hoped that the conference must have given the young delegates an exposure to collaboration and diplomacy while understanding the values of inclusivity and valuing the views of others.
Mst. Sanskar Biradkar (UNHRC), Mst. Nimish Janai (WHO), Mst. Neil Ganguly (UNICEF), Mst. Nihar Nilatkar (HCC), Mst. Shaurya Jaiswal (LOK SABHA), Ms. Anvi Shrivastava (UNCSW), Ms.Spandana Bansod (ECOFIN) and Mst. Aaryan Dongre (JUJUTSU-KAISEN) received awards for being adjudged as the best delegates by their respective Chairs for their outstanding contributions.
The highlight of the evening was a scintillating performance by the dance troupe of the school which alongwith a lively band added to the colourful extravaganza of the event.
