DPS MIHAN, #Nagpur celebrated its Investiture Ceremony on Friday, July 26, 2024, to foster leadership qualities among students and inspire a sense of responsibility towards the school community. The event was graced by Dr. Ravinder Singhal, Commissioner of Police, Nagpur city, as Chief Guest. He addressed the assembly, urging the young leaders to embrace their roles with dedication and to balance their academic pursuits with physical well-being. Dr. Singhal extended his best wishes to the Student Council, emphasizing the importance of their contributions.
Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro Vice Chairperson of DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road, along with Director Ms. Savita Jaiswal, sent their blessings to the new student leaders, encouraging them to diligently fulfill their duties. The occasion was also honored by the presence of Ms. Yogeeta Umalkar, Principal of DPS Kamptee.
The newly appointed Student Council, led by Head-Girl Miss Pakhi Gaur and Head-Boy Master Arnav Galphate, alongside other key leaders such as Vice Head-Girl Miss Siya Ghate, Vice Head-Boy Master Pranav Raj, and Sports Captains Bhavya Turkar and Prisha Kaul, received their badges. The Principal of DPS MIHAN, Ms. Nidhi Yadav, administered the oath to the council, who expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to serve the school. The ceremony featured a captivating performance by the school choir, highlighted by a rendition of the song "Warriors," and a stunning classical Bharatnatyam dance by the school's talented artists. The event was skillfully compered by Miss Siri Bhat, Miss Vaibhavi Mandpe, Miss Akriti Singh, and Master Arsh Deoghare, with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Head Girl Miss Pakhi Gaur.
